UPDATE: GRANTSVILLE VFD RESPONDED LITTLE KANAWHA RIVER FOR KAYAKING COUPLE MUNDAY BEACH

UPDATE 11:40 PM - Reports at 11:40 PM said the kayakers had been located, returning to their vehicle at Munday Beach. THURSDAY 11 PM - The Grantsville VFD was dispatched at 11 p.m. Thursday to Munday Beach, near the Wirt County line. Reports to Calhoun's 911 Center said that two males, 36 and 8, had not returned to their parked vehicle. Those reports indicating they were kayaking on the Little Kanawha River. Relatives of the individuals were at the scene. The fire department was responding to start a search for the individuals.
