MOVHD: WOOD COUNTY HAS 11 NEW CASES SINCE JUNE 29

(07/02/2020)
The Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department (MOVHD) has received more positive COVID-19 cases bringing the total for Wood County to 86 positive cases. Eleven new cases since June 29.

The other five counties remain the same. Calhoun and Ritchie Counties have two cases. Pleasants County has three positive cases, and Wirt County remains at four cases. Roane County still has eleven cases.

Case investigators are working with the active positive cases to determine who may have been in close contact with the positive cases to stop the spread of the virus. Those that are tested should remain at home and self-quarantine until the tests results are attained. Cooperation with the investigators can reduce the number of people infected in our communities.
