Carol Jane Collins, 59 of Big Springs WV passed away following a 10 year courageous battle with cancer on Sunday June 14, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Parkersburg WV on March 2, 1961, a daughter of Dallas Paul Collins and the late Joan Marie Collins.
Remembering Carol's kind and caring nature are her father Dallas Paul Collins of Big Springs; 3 brothers, Roger Collins of Big Springs, her twin brother Carl Collins and wife Marisha also of Big Springs, Steve Collins and wife Marty of Alum Bridge WV; sisters, Susan Gainer and husband Randy of Washington WV, and Angela Kluesener and husband Neil of Spartanburg SC; Along with several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews; special friends, Patty and Bob Cain; Stanley Wilson, Blessed Hope Baptist Church and her beloved Prosperity Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, Carol was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Willie and Nancy Collins; and maternal grandparents Vohn and Hallie Jones.
Carol enjoyed going to church, crafts, spending time with her family and friends, and visiting with her young nieces and nephews. Carol always had a positive attitude and a big smile that will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, held at Prosperity Baptist Church, Big Springs, Wednesday June 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Heiney officiating. Friends may visit from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Saunders Cemetery, Big Springs WV.
