LANCASTER COMMITS TO PLAY LACROSSE AT DAVIS AND ELKINS COLLEGE

(06/09/2020)

Addison Lancaster, granddaughter of Joe and Sandra Lancaster of Grantsville, WV has committed to play D2 Lacrosse for Davis and Elkins College.

Addie resides in Clarksburg with her parents Kyle and Tracy Lancaster, and brother Jace. Other grandparents are Ron and Connie Lane. She is a 2020 graduate of Liberty High School.

Addie started playing Lacrosse for the Harrison County Lady Bruins only her Junior year. She picked it up quickly and even earned WV All-State team status after that 1st season.

She fell in love with the sport and vowed to come back even stronger her Senior year. Unfortunately, her senior season was cut short by Covid 19, before even stepping on a field.

Addie was offered 7 college scholarships, but ultimately chose Davis and Elkins to stay close to home and major in Tourism. Her high school Coach AJ Curran "Addie started with no exposure to Lacrosse. We would show her what to do and she would go after it. She scored 4 goals in her 1st game ever."

She was also a 4 year starter for the Liberty Volleyball team. She played 2 years with Mountain Rage Volleyball Travel Team.
