PM SATURDAY: 17 New Covid-19 Cases In WV

Five additional cases of the coronavirus were confirmed Saturday evening in West Virginia, added to 12 AM Saturday = 17.

There have been 2,136 positive cases in the state, according to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.

The state currently has at least 603 active cases.

In a number of states, the virus count is rising, as America attempts to return to normal, particularly those states that took fewer measures are now having the most cases.

No new deaths were reported Saturday evening, keeping the state’s death total at 84.
