Judge Anita Harold Ashley presents drug court grad certificate to Samantha Starcher Presenters at ceremony: Judge Anita Harold Ashley, Nick Lefwich-Statewide Drug Court Coordinator, Angela Perdue-Drug Court Probation Officer, Shannon Johnson-Calhoun Prosecutor, Josh Downey-Roane Prosecutor, and Honoree Samantha Starcher By Bob Weaver A Calhoun woman, Samantha Starcher, is Calhoun's first graduate of the Roane-Calhoun Adult Drug Court, with a number of officials, family members and guests attending a ceremony Friday at the Arnoldsburg Community Park. Starcher has 18 months being clean and sober, completing multiple hours of community service, active in recovery groups, and helping others. Prosecutor Johnson (left) spoke about the hard work Starcher has done to get into recovery; Starcher (right) spoke about near-death situations in her addiction, and the pain and suffering she caused her family, and her vision for the future Starcher's parents, Fred and Paula Starcher, shared the difficult times and joys with recovery Family and supporters came to the park to congrat- ulate and celebrate Starcher's accomlishments
