AM FRIDAY: THREE NEW COVID-19 WV DEATHS

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed three more COVID-19 deaths in the state.

An 82-year-old woman, an 88-year-old man and a 52-year-old man have died from the virus. All three were residents of Jefferson County, according to the DHHR.

The state's death toll is now 82 since the start of the pandemic.

The DHHR also confirmed 11 additional positive cases in the state Friday morning. This brings the state's total up to 2,113.

The cumulative average for positive cases in the state is 1.96%.

West Virginia has had 1,425 coronavirus recoveries.
