Gwynn D. Ross, 88, of Gay

Gwynn D. Ross, 88, of Gay, passed away at home after a long illness on Monday, May 16, 2020.

He is the son of the late Jerry O. Ross and Nora "Olive" Cross Ross of Coco, Kanawha County.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gwynn D. Ross, II; brothers, Dana Lewis Ross, Jerry Hollis Ross, Larry Allen Ross, William Franklin "Bill" Ross and Clarence Edward Ross; sisters, Dorothy L. Lynch, Frances M. Leftwich and Rebecca "Becky" Crockett.

Survivors include his daughters, Anna M. (Michael) Gandee and Paula L. Mancini both of Gay; Son, Bernard L. "Will" Ross of Charleston; brothers, Richard M. (Barbara) Ross, Raymond G. Ross and David L. (Sharon) Ross; sisters, Barbara J. Pritt, E. Kay Truman and Debra (Pete) Saunders; sister-in-law, Wanda Sheldon Ross; grandsons, Sean E. (Irelene) Ross, Michael F. Gandee and Adam R. (Courtney) Gandee; granddaughter, Amber A. (Phillip) Marshall of Phoenix, AZ; great granddaughters, Suzanna Ross Webb, Katelynn Rhodes and Ashtyn Gandee; great grandsons, Gabriel J. Alger of Phoenix, AZ, Matthew Gandee of NC, Andrew Ross, Daniel Ross and Grayson James Gandee all of Ripley; six great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gwynn retired from Libby Owens Ford Glass Plant and was an avid gardener and horseman. He and "Duke" were well known in the local horse community. He loved horse shows and trail riding.

He will long be loved and remembered by all that knew him.

Burial will be at the Ross Family Cemetery, Coco.
