Nina Bock, 82, of Reedy

Nina Bock, 82, of Reedy, formerly of Creston, died Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.

She was born Nov. 13, 1937 at Elizabeth, the daughter of the late Raymond and Agnes Wigal Tanner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Bock; brother, Raymond Tanner; sister, Norma Tanner.

She was a homemaker and mother. Her pastimes included quilting, gardening, sitting in her rocking chair and traveling. Also, she attended the Bethel Baptist Church for years.

Survivors include a son, Daniel (Jennifer) Bock of Sardis, Ohio; daughter, Mary Ann (Freddy) Bush of Reedy; grandchildren, Melissa (Tim) Barker and Matthew Dooley; great grandchildren, Destiny Barker, Ethan Barker and Kylee Barker; brother, William (Sandra) Tanner of Parkersburg.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 22 at Rector Cemetery, Creston, with the Rev. Melvin Boggs and Dick Elliott officiating.

Friends will be received at the cemetery one hour prior to the graveside service.

Memorial donations may be made to Rector Cemetery Fund, 357 Rector Drive, Creston, WV.

Matheny-Whited Funeral Home, Elizabeth is serving the Bock family.
