Georgia Smith, 96, of Florida

Georgia Smith, 96, passed away on May 9th, 2020 at home after a six week illness. She was the oldest daughter of Della (Morehead) Dawson and Cecil Dawson. She married Victor Smith and had three daughters. She worked as a waitress and at a florist shop. She lived in Akron, Ohio for twelve years before moving to Cleveland. She lived there for fifty-five years near her youngest daughter, Beverly Smith. She moved to Oldsmar, FL in 2013 to live with her daughter, Barbara Calipetro. She was preceded in death by her parents Della and Cecil Dawson, daughter Victoria, brothers, Jack of Grantsville WV, Jessie of Euclid, OH; sister Janice "Sally" of Grantsville. She is survived by brothers, Donald of Cleveland, Larry of Grantsville, and Lanny of Millstone; and sister, Delores "Boots" Richards of Big Springs WV. She was a loving grandmother to Charles and Heidi Muenger of Oldsmar FL and JoAnn and Troy Lane of Colleyville TX; also three great grandchildren, Madeline and Katie Lane of Texas and Drew Muenger of Florida. The family will have a memorial gathering at the home of Boots Richards in Big Springs WV in the Fall.
