CALHOUN SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT ARRESTS TWO ON DRUG CHARGES

Danny Lane and Shelbie Lane The Calhoun County Sheriff's Department and West Virginia State Police, with assistance from the West Virginia Natural Resources Police, and the Grantsville Police Department executed a search warrant on River Road in Grantsville. As a result of the search, Danny and Shelbie Lane were arrested and charged with felony offenses of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and conspiracy, after approximately 97 total grams of marijuana, plastic baggies, scales, and cash were located in the residence. Both Danny and Shelbie Lane are in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $50,000 cash, each. Two other individuals, Jennifer Love and Danny Edward Lane, were charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. This incident stemmed from a joint investigation by the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department and the West Virginia State Police.
