Debra Ann (Hall) McKown, 63, of Sand Ridge

Debra Ann (Hall) McKown, 63, of Sand Ridge, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, after an extended illness.

She was born August 16, 1956 a daughter of the late Darrell R. Hall and June (Price) Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Ernest Hall.

Debra was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Edwin N. McKown; daughter Laura M. Baudouin and husband ReneĀ’ of Thibodaux LA; son Darrell L. "D.L." McKown and wife Heather of Mt. Zion WV; grandsons, Darrien T. McKown (Lindsey Robinson), Devan C. McKown, and Jude L. Baudouin; granddaughter, Ella M. Baudouin; and 2 great grandchildren, Liam and Raegen; sister Sandra "Sam" Marks (Dean) of Arnoldsburg; brothers Charles "Bucket" Hall (Donna) of Arnoldsburg, and Mike "Stretch" Hall (Linda) of Chloe WV; several nieces and nephews and two special friends, Jeanne Wagoner and Cindy Laughlin.

Per Debra's request there will be no memorial service. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Stump Funeral Home of Arnoldsburg is assisting the McKown family with final arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, her family has requested donations be made to WV Caring, of Burnsville, WV. The McKown family would like to express their sincere gratitude and love to her nurses and caregivers at WV Caring and Camden Clark Medical Center.
