Donald Ray Tucker, 70, of Arnoldsburg

Donald Ray Tucker, 70, of Arnoldsburg, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington.

He was born October 6, 1949, at Confluence, Penn., the son of the late Homer and Bonnetta "Bonnie" Shartiger Tucker.

Donald was a retired oil field worker. He helped build the former Arnoldsburg Southern Baptist Fellowship. His pastimes included tearing down electronic devices, cars, spending time at the lake, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Jennett Rogers Tucker, whom he married May 22, 1976 at Chloe; children, Theodore Gail Tucker of Arnoldsburg, Donald Ray Tucker, II also of Arnoldsburg, Charles Richard (Brittany Leigh) Tucker of Galax Va. and Christina Dawn (James) Smith of Spencer; grandchildren, Christopher Tucker, Hollie Tucker, Tracy Smith, Stephanie Tucker, Jared Spencer, Joshua Tucker and Logan Tucker; brother, Ron (Derrie) Tucker of Smithville OH; sisters, Lola Jean (Edwin) Butler of Orrville OH and Opal Harris of Grantsville; several nieces and nephews.

The family will gather to say their goodbyes from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday, April 4 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. He will be cremated and a graveside service will be held at the Orma Cemetery at a later date.
