Barbara Ann Shaffer, 70, of Gandeeville

Barbara Ann Shaffer, 70, of Gandeeville, died Monday, March 23, 2020, at Miletree Center, Spencer. She was born December 9, 1949, at Harmony, the daughter of the late Benjamin R. and Elva Hersman Fields. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Shaffer, July 11, 2019; brother, Carl Fields; sister, Virginia Fields. Mrs. Shaffer was a homemaker and a member of the Sunlight Baptist Church. Her pastimes were quilting and canning. Survivors include two sons, Allen Shaffer of Gandeeville and Mark Shaffer of Ripley; five brothers, Charles, Lowe, Jim, Roy and Roger Fields; seven sisters, Ruth Rhodes, Hazel Pancook, Ruby Anderson, Bonnie Myers, Carolyn Myers, Daisy Martinez and Joyce Evans.
