Roscoe Edison Murphy, 75, of Orma, West Virginia passed away on March 18, 2020 at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Grantsville, WV. He was born on February 21, 1945 in Mud Fork, West Virginia, a son of the late Edward Edison and Amanda (Tanner) Murphy. He served in the United States Army. He is survived by his four daughters, Deanna (Greg) Zonar of Orrville, Ohio, Lucy (Jim) Barr of Medina, Ohio, Michele (John) Wudy of Orrville, and Stacey (Terry) Raber of Creston, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; sisters Martha (Donald) Nelson of Chloe, West Virginia and Effie Tucker of Chesapeake, Virginia; 4 brothers, Ronzel Murphy of Wooster, Ohio, Donzel Murphy of Burbank, Ohio, Richard (Patty) Murphy of Creston, Ohio, and Leonard (Sally) Murphy of Polk, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David Murphy and Danny Murphy. A private family funeral service will be conducted by Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV on Saturday, March 21, 2020 followed by interment in Coen Cemetery, Nebo, WV.
