ONE YEAR AGO: WV HAS FIRST CASE OF CORONAVIRUS - Officials Say Detection Slow Because Of Lack Of Test Kits, Governor Closes All State Bars, Restaurants And Casinos

The first case of the Coronavirus has been reported in WV, while national and state officials have confirmed West Virginia and the nation's under reporting of the virus has been linked to the lack of testing kits and difficult procedures regarding who can get the test.

Gov. Jim Justice said the virus has been in West Virginia, despite being the last state to report a case.

Justice also announced Tuesday the closing of all bars, restaurants and casinos.

The nation's hospitals are preparing for patients with overload expected, sadly in West Virginia, some of the larger and smaller hospitals have closed due to financial problems.
