Charles Edward Yeager, 77, of Troy

Charles Edward Yeager age 77, of Troy WV, departed this life as a result of an automobile accident on Friday, March 13, 2020.

He was born December 18, 1942 in Grantsville WV, a son of the late Ervin and Cleo Yeager.

In his earlier years, Charlie worked construction. He enjoyed working on cars, helping at the auction barn, and mowing his lawn.

Charles is survived by his wife, Karen Yeager; long term companion, Margie G. Stump; children, Maria Yeager, Michelle Yeager, Scott Yeager, Raymond Yeager, Angie Yeager, Tammy Yeager, Sandra Yeager, James Yeager, and Cindy Yeager; and siblings, Brenda Thompson (Ronnie), Patty Stump, Judy Fisher (Bruce), Wanda Yeager, Connie Tinney, Annette Ledbetter, Lee Yeager (Shirley), Roger Yeager, Lane Yeager (Mary), Robert Yeager (Lola), and Reggie Yeager.

Also surviving are a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousin and other family and friends.

Along with his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Dewayne and Steven Yeager; and 3 nephews, David Taylor, Kelly Yeager, and Bruce Fisher.

Charlie's request for cremation has been honored and the family will have a memorial service later in the summer of 2020.

Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. of Glenville, is assisting the family of Charles Edward Yeager with arrangements.
