GLENVILLE STATE ISSUES CORONAVIRUS CHANGES

(03/15/2020)
Glenville State College is implementing changes as a precaution against coronavirus.

The school said it is extending spring break, scheduled March 16-20, until March 27. Classes will resume on Monday, March 30. Missed instructional time will be compressed into the remaining weeks of the semester and/or will be assigned during spring break.

During spring break, faculty members will develop alternate instructional delivery methods, where possible, to minimize the extent and number of individuals gathered together, according to GSC.

The school said residential services will continue to be provided to students who do not leave campus for spring break.

All athletic activities and practices at GSC are canceled, according to a press release. Additionally, usage of college facilities by outside groups, college activities designed to draw large crowds and on-campus concerts and performances will be canceled and rescheduled, if possible, after April 15.

GSC will continue to host prospective students and their parents during the extended spring break, the school said.
