POWER OUTAGE STRIKES GREATER GRANTSVILLE AREA

A large area in the greater Grantsville area was without power Monday night for about five hours. The power went off just after 9 p.m. and was restored at 2 a.m. A transformer exploded and burned just south of the Grantsville town limits along Rt. 16. The Grantsville VFD responded.
