Joyce Ann Wright Byrd - Parkersburg WV

Joyce Ann Wright Byrd, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Calhoun County, WV, to Lida and Guy Wright. Joyce attended Parkersburg Beauty College and later retired from Nashua Photo as a quality inspector. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, crafting, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by three sons; Scott Parsons (Carla) of Mineral Wells, WV, Jason Parsons (Janie) of Circleville, OH and Sean Parsons (Lisa) of Mineral Wells, WV; grandchildren Samantha, Tyler and Megan (Scott); Reilley and Hailley (Sean); Brenden, Sydne and Jayla (Jason) and great grandchild, Josie (Brenden); sisters Marilyn Bunner of Elizabeth, WV and Diane Cain of Nelsonville, OH; brother James (Jamie) Wright of Parkersburg, WV. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her brothers Darrell and Joe Cain, both of Parkersburg, WV. At her request, there will be no memorial service at this time. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Along with her sons, she would like to thank all of those that supported her in some capacity over the past few years including friends, neighbors and extended family members.
