WILLIAM TREVIS McELVEY, 87, of Millstone, West Virginia died February 10, 2020 at his home in Millstone.
He was born August 10, 1932 in Defuniak Springs, Florida a son of the late James Frank McElvey and Mary Carolyn Phelps McElvey Moore. He worked in building construction throughout his life, was a US Air Force veteran and attended the North Naples Church.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Eloise Alfred McElvey; a daughters, Kathryn Anders; two step-daughters, Sherry Hardway and Diane Hanson; one son, William Trevis McElvey, Jr.; two step-sons, Kenny and Dick Conley; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer McElvey; a step-daughter, Peggy Conley; sisters, Lottie Sayre and Tereece Sassor; and a brother, Frank McElvey.
Per his request, the body was cremated. |
