Tammi Sue Roberts Hardman, 61, Tanner

Tammi Sue Roberts Hardman age 61 of Tanner WV, departed this life in the afternoon hours of Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center in Grantsville WV following a short battle with cancer.

She was born July 16, 1958 in Parkersburg WV, daughter of the Mary Sue Elletson Roberts of Tanner and the late Pearl "Sonny" Roberts.

Tammi is a graduate of Parkersburg South High School Glenville State College, a former Level 2 cataloger for the Gilmer County Public Library with 15 years experience. She was currently employed as a custodian for the Gilmer County Board of Education having worked at the Gilmer County High School for the last 14 years.

In her spare time, Tammi enjoyed working in her flower garden, interacting with all the children and young adults at the high School, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her grandchildren whenever possible.

Surviving are 2 sons, Tony Hardman and companion Bridgette Campbell of Buckhannon WV, and Josh Hardman of Tanner; 2 step-children, Brandy Hardman and companion Mark Wells of Buckhannon, and Bryan Hardman and companion Amanda Fitzpatrick also of Buckhannon; and 2 sisters, Jennifer Siverson (Kenneth) and Terri Jarlinski (Dale) both of Florida.

Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, Josh Schoolcraft, Rico Schoolcraft, Kyrie Hardman, Ryleigh Hardman, Jax Hardman, Caleb Barcus, Zac Barcus, Jace Hardman, and Aniyah Hardman and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other wonderful family and friends.

Along with her father, Sonny Roberts, Tammi is preceded in death by her former husband, Douglas Hardman.

Tammi's request for cremation has been honored and she will be laid to rest on the family farm at a later date.
