| Governor Bob Wise says the damage from the ice and snow storm was so severe he believes the state could qualify for federal disaster assistance.
The governor announced yesterday afternoon that he'll ask the President to declare 31 counties a federal disaster area.
The governor has already sought help for counties in southern West Virginia where flooding occured two weeks ago. |
