UPDATE: TOMMY YOUNG MISSING FROM CLAY COUNTY FOUND - Arrests Made Connected To Case

(12/25/2019)
UPDATE 12/24/19 - State Police say they located Russell Tommy Young, who went missing from Clay County.

12/24/19 - New details are emerging in the case of a missing man in Clay County.

West Virginia State Police said Russel Tommy Young, also known as Tommy Young, 26, was last seen Dec. 21 renting a U-Haul in North Charleston, wearing a green beanie cap and a dark blue hoodie with New York written on it in white letters.

The U-Haul was supposed to be returned the following day on Dec. 22, but it wasn’t. It was entered into the system as a stolen vehicle.

Police said they spotted the U-Haul and pulled it over. They found two men riding in the U-Haul who were arrested on unrelated charges.

Young has brown hair and blue eyes. He weighs about 180 pounds and is 5 feet, 6 inches tall. His family told troopers he has depression and high functioning autism.

Troopers said he was last seen driving a dark blue Ford Focus with an Indiana license plate with the number 878RES.
