UPDATE: DUO ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES AT ARNOLDSBURG

The Calhoun Sheriffs Department, as part of their drug eradication program, arrested a Spring Run, Arnoldsburg duo on drug charges on December 22.

Larry Robert Joseph, 39, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and conspiracy. He is in Central Regional Jail on cash only $100,000 bond.

Also arrested was Mary Ellen Gibson, 36, on the same charges, she is also incarcerated in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $75,000.

Sheriff Jeff Starcher said he received a search warrant for a residence where drug activity appeared to be taking place.

He was accompanied by deputies, WV State Police and a DNR officer to the Spring Run house.

A criminal complaint said officers discovered multiple plastic bags and scales in addition to a bag containing what appeared to be 7.7 grams of meth and a bag with 6.8 grams of marijuana, in addition to other drugs.

ORIGINAL STORY 12/22/2019 - The Calhoun Sheriffs Department assisted by the WV State Police arrested two people in Calhoun Friday on drug charges.
