| Bertha Jane Rule Dye, 77, of Hebron WV, departed this life on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston WV.
She was born August 31, 1942 in Clarksburg WV.
She was a graduate of Glenville State College with a degree in Nutrition. She retired from St. Maryâs Correctional Center, St. Mary's WV.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years James M. Dye; children Thomas Allen Dye (Sally) of Parkersburg WV and Showna Dye Schamberger (Richard) of Pennsboro WV; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 step-grandson; 1 brother Steven Rule of St. Mary's.
She was preceded in death by her parents Albert Golden Rule, Sr. and Clesta Burnside Rule, one brother Albert Rule, Jr. and one infant sister.
Graveside services will be held at Goodnight Cemetery, Brooksville WV on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
