CAR CRASHES OVER STEEP HILLSIDE ON PLEASANT HILL

The driver of this vehicle lost control with a tire blowout, weaving down Rt. 16 and over a steep embankment. The driver was not injured, but one of two passengers received injury to a shoulder and was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System. The accident happened just south of Whytsell's Store. The Grantsville VFD responded to the scene. The West Virginia State Police are investigating.
