CALHOUN MEN ARRESTED

Matthew David Jeffery, 36, of Barnes Run Road, was arrested by State Police from Spencer after fleeing from officer Trooper Seth McDonald. Jeffery was charged with fleeing from law enforcement, fleeing with reckless indifference, fleeing on foot, driving suspended license, among other charges. He was taken to Central Regional Jail. Calhoun Sheriff Deputy W. T. Raines arrested a man in Arnoldsburg, discovered sleeping in his vehicle near some storage units. Raines, in a criminal complaint, said Tony Bradford Riley, 51, of Normantown, was found stretched out on a car seat, wrapped in a blanket, with no pants or undergarments. The complaint says the officer discovered several open been containers, also securing a firearm. He was arrested for public intoxication. Calhoun authorities arrested Christopher Shawn Stoops, 48, Wednesday and charged him with driving revoked 3rd, fraudulent MVI. He is in Central Regional Jail.
