CHARLESTON MURDER - The Charleston Police Department has charged a man with murder after a body was found at Carroll Terrace on Kanawha Boulevard. According to police, Charles Wesley Wild, 37, is being charged with first-degree murder. Police responded to the apartment complex on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.

This charge was made following the discovery of the body of Teresa Adkins, 57. Adkins’s body had injuries to the face, neck, and upper torso area.

Carroll Terrace is an apartment complex run by Charleston-Kanawha Housing. It is a “Senior High-Rise Property” designed for retirees.
