Sarah Gretchen Lester (December 16, 1917 - January 16, 2018) The service will be held at St. John's United Methodist Church, 335 Church Street, Spencer, beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday October 27, with Rev. Carl Tribett, Pastor and Dr. David Tupper, Organist.
Gretchen, had a beautiful singing voice and played the piano at different churches over the years and sometimes revivals.
She was 100 years and one month when she died. If you like to sing, or enjoy music, the family invites you to come to remember her and to enjoy some of the music she loved. Come even if you didn't know Gretchen and enjoy the music.
