Monuey Euthleen "Pokie" Jarvis, 70, of Nebo WV, entered into rest on October 16, 2019 at home surrounded with her loving family by her side. She was born December 19, 1948, the daughter of the late Arley and Mamie Tanner Metheney. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Dale "Tinker" Metheney and Orville "Bub" Metheney. She is survived by her husband, Henry Lee "Buck" Jarvis of 53 Years; three daughters, Anita "Cricket" and John Brandon of Southington, Ohio, Christina and Jeffrey Faler of Bristolville, OH, and Shonda and Mickey Moore of Chloe, WV; four grandchildren, Lindsay (Brad) Collins of Warren, OH, Zackary Brandon of Warren, OH, Joseph (Tanaya) Faler of Looneyville, WV, Mitchell (Fred) Moore of Chloe, WV; and two great grandchildren, Gracie Collins and Gannon Burdette. Surviving siblings are Daris "Jobby" Metheney (Jerri) of Creston, OH, Louise Boggs of Nebo, WV, Roy Metheney of Duck, WV, Doy Metheney (Bonnie), James Metheney (Patty), Troxal Metheney (Connie), Tama Jarvis, and Tim Metheney (Stephanie) all of Chloe, WV. She enjoyed her family, cooking, garage sales and her dogs. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Unity Gospel Tabernacle, Nebo with Pastor Tim Hickman officiating. Visitation will be three hours prior to service at the church. Interment in the Coen Cemetery, Nebo. .
