STOPPED: PENCIL-THIN STREAM OF WATER FLOWING DOWN WEST FORK OF LK

9/25/2017 - It's mighty dry in Sunny Cal, and today not a single drop of water was flowing down the West Fork of the Little Kanawha River at Rocksdale. 9/17/2019 - Today, the West Fork of the Little Kanawha, which has headwaters in Clay, Braxton and Roane counties, was moving a stream the size of a pencil under the low-water bridge at Henry's Fork (near Rocksdale). Calhoun's green forest is sucking up the last ground water as fall approaches, with little rain in the forecast.
