Gerald Lee Woods, 64, of Charleston, formerly of Spencer, died September 3, 2019, at home. He was a retired teacher, having taught in Fayette and Roane Counties. Gerald was an alumnus of Spencer High School and Marshall University. He was also a boys and girls basketball coach. Survivors include his brother, Gregory Woods of Reedy WV; and one niece. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara L. Fisher Miller. There will be no visitation or service. John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
