DRUG SHOOTING - A Boone County man is facing multiple charges after a shooting in the Julian area of Boone County. Eric Hayes, 40, of Ridgeview is charged with malicious wounding, wanton endangerment and possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, according to Boone County Chief Deputy Chad Barker. Just before noon Wednesday, deputies arrived at a home and found the victim with Hayes. Barker said the victim was shot in the face and is in stable condition. Deputies believe the shooting is drug related. The victim's name has not been released at this time.
