Calhoun Superintendent of Schools, today on social media, clarified an incident occurring Monday, where an alleged threat was made toward Calhoun Middle-High School:

Reported on the Hur Herald was a 911 alert described as an "active shooter alert," the description given by authorities of the incident, broadcast over Calhoun 911.

Parents of the juvenile are claiming that the school over-reacted to the threat, while Calhoun Schools has said that all threats are taken seriously.
