FLOOD WARNINGS IN FIVE COUNTIES - 20 Inch Snow In Mountains

SATURDAY 7 PM = Five southern West Virginia counties are under flood warnings tonight, while winter storm warnings have been issued for most if West Virginia.<>. Logan, McDowell, Mercer, Mingo and Wyoming counties are under flood warnings through tomorrow morning because of melting snow and heavy rains. Some secondary roads are impassable.

The National Weather Service says up to 20 inches of snow could fall in the northern mountains by tomorrow night.

Other areas could receive up to a foot of snow. Strong winds in the Eastern Panhandle are expected to make traveling difficult

In the Charleston and Huntington areas, up to four inches of snow is forecast.
