Calhoun Christmas Connection is perhaps one of the most community-minded programs in the county. In 2018 Christmas Connection served 222 children and 160 families with not only gifts, but wrapping paper, stockings and food baskets. Every cent of every dollar donation goes directly to serving the children and families of Calhoun County. "We want to insure that we have enough funds to provide for at least that number again in 2019," said volunteer Jean Simers.
