A Calhoun County man was arrested in Roane County after he allegedly led State Police on a three-mile chase and then told the arresting officer to shoot him.

Timothy Joseph Hall, 33, of 40 Douglass Run Rd., Chloe. was arrested Saturday for driving while his license was revoked for DUI and fleeing in a motor vehicle with reckless disregard.

The charges filed by Roane Sheriff's Deputy Michael Turley allege the officer was on patrol in the Wallback area when he saw a vehicle being driven erratically on W.Va. 36.

While refusing to stop, Turley said the vehicle crossed the centerline multiple times and forced two other vehicles off the road.

After three miles the car eventually stopped. Turley said, and the driver exited as if he were going to flee on foot. After Turley drew his gun, the suspect reported told him to "just f--ing shoot me."

Turley eventually got the man handcuffed. The charges allege that a female passenger, along with a spoon with white residue suspected to have been used to consume drugs, were also found in the car.

Hall was arraigned by Roane Magistrate Jason Bennett and lodged in the regional jail in lieu of S10,000 bond.
