WV HIGHEST IN NATION WITH COLLEGE LOAN DEBT - Stats Paint Dismal Future

(07/12/2019)
If WalletHubs survey is accurate, its a pretty dismal picture for WV college-goers, most who appear to be leaving the state.

West Virginia has one of the worst college going rates in the USA, with the highest student loan debt, second with those in default.

State college-goers are second in the nation with default also second in the nation to be unemployed.

The hope, the WV legislatures passage of free 2-year community college could change the balance for future students.

The national college debt is now over a whooping $1.5 trillion dollars.

WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across two key dimensions, Student-Loan Indebtedness and Grant & Student Work Opportunities.
