MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN RITCHIE COUNTY

A motorcyclist was killed late Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Route 50 in Ritchie County, authorities said. According to the Ritchie County 911 center, the crash happened about 6:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Route 50 near Toll Gate, which is between Pennsboro and the Doddridge County line. No other vehicles were involved, and the victim has not been identified. The West Virginia State Police detachment in Harrisville is handling the investigation.
