| Calhoun County Park will be hosting a
Fishing Derby on July 4, from daylight to
dark at the park's three ponds.
There is a $5 entry fee.
Medals will be awarded for the top bluegill, bass and catfish catches.
There will be a Volleyball Tournament, a 3 on 3, starting at 9 a.m. with $5 entry fee. Call 304-477-3695.
Concessions will be sold throughout the day.
There will
also be fireworks at County Park at dark, at least a 30-45
minute show with a $1 per person entry fee.
County residents are encouraged to come out to the park to play and enjoy the facilities, including the special events.
