WOMAN ESCAPES SERIOUS INJURY IN LEADING CREEK CRASH

A woman was not seriously injured Thursday afternoon when her vehicle left the roadway on Leading Creek Road near the Wirt-Calhoun Line. The vehicle plunged off the roadway landing on its top in a ravine, the woman was trapped in the vehicle as responders arrived. She was reportedly taken to Minnie Hamilton by Calhoun EMS. The Grantsville VFD responded to the incident, along with the Calhoun Sheriffs Department.
