SERMONIZING WOMAN UPSET OVER 'RED DEVIL' CAUSES RESTAURANT DISTURBANCE

(05/26/2019)
The "Red Devil" Calhoun High School mascot name that has endured for years caused some minor problems in a Grantsville restaurant Friday evening.

A woman entered the Mom's Too eatery on Main Street and commenced sermonizing to the customers, the woman refused to leave.

A call to Calhoun 911 from the restaurant requested law enforcement to remove the woman, indicating she was disturbing the customers.

One of the woman's sermon topics was related to the newly opened "Red Devil Inn," a few doors down at the site of the former Aging with Grace.

A number of years ago, a Calhoun man attended the local school board meeting related to the Red Devil logo, claiming it was the work of evil forces.
