Delores Ruth Strickland, 80, of Walton
Delores Ruth Strickland, 80, of Walton, formerly of Palmetto, Ga., died Sunday, May 12, 2019, at home.She was a former employee of Kellwood Company and Norris Industries, Spencer. Mrs. Strickland was a former Girl Scout Leader and attended Sandy Knob Community Church, Walton. Her pastimes were sewing, quilting and her pets.
Survivors include her husband, David Wayne Strickland of Walton; children, Pamela (Rick) Clark of Hogansville, Ga., Steven (Karen) Ray of Pottsville, Ark., Patricia Ray of Lexington, Ky. and Paula (Bill) Cox of Gandeeville; seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Kermit and Marie Scarbro; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 25 at the Sandy Knob Community Church with the Rev. Steve Arbogast officiating.
