Melvina "Tiny" Holpp Anderson, 88, of Vienna

Melvina "Tiny" Holpp Anderson, 88, of Vienna, passed away May 5, 2019 at her daughters home, surrounded by her family.

She was born February 16, 1931 in Freed, Calhoun County, WV, a daughter of the late John W. and Arzana Myrtle Haught Holpp.

Tiny was a graduate of PHS High School in 1948, a Girl Scout Leader, Boy Scout Leader, ViBaChu Crafters-RSVP Quilters-Hostess Board. She was a member of Vienna Baptist Church for over 60 years, and was baptized in 1946. She was a homemaker and her greatest joy was her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathy L. Wise (Donald) of Parkersburg; one son, Stephen M. Anderson (Theresa) of Fairborn, OH; three grandchildren, Kristen M. Scheihing (Jeremy), Ryan M. Anderson and Amy E. Anderson, also a very close family friend, Lindsay Tice.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by, her husband, Davis L. Anderson; sisters, Letha Snider, Zelda Stanford, Barbara Skogen; brothers, Aves Holpp and John Holpp, Jr.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Pastors, William Brown, Dennis Pratt and Dwight Broward officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sunset memory Gardens, Parkersburg. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Hostess Board at Vienna Baptist Church or Housecalls Hospice.
