RESPONDERS GO TO CHLOE AFTER MAN FOUND UNRESPONSIVE IN DITCH - Police Respond To Erratic Woman

Calhoun EMS and law enforcement responded to a man, described as about 72, unresponsive in a ditch along Route 16 near Cadle Run, a short distance from the Clay County line. Motorists discovered the man about 4:30 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to Roane General Hospital. State Police responded to a call regarding an erratic woman on US 33-119 at Letherbark near Pink Road at 5 p.m. Thursday. The homeowner told 911 that the woman had been knocking on their door and then entered a parked car, rummaging through the vehicle. She was taken into custody a short time later by law enforcement while walking along the highway.
