He was born December 19, 1959 at Kent, Ohio, the son of Patricia Edmundson Fisher of Kent, Ohio and the late Franklin Fisher.

Dennis was a machinist at Kanawha Manufacturing, Charleston.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his son, Brett Fisher of Spencer; stepdaughter, Brandi Hammerstone of Garrettsville, Ohio; granddaughter, Ella Marie Carmichael Fisher; sisters, Lisa Fisher of Kent, Ohio, Laurel Fisher of Atwater, Ohio; brother, Donny Fisher of Ravenna, Ohio; best friend, whom he loved like a brother, Keith Gemberling of Kent, Ohio.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date, John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, was in charge of arrangements.
