Nancy Darlene Greathouse, age 67 of Buckwheat Road, Cox's Mills WV, departed this earthly life on the morning of Thursday April 11, 2019 at her residence following a sudden illness.She was born April 11, 1952 in Normantown WV, daughter of the late Richard and Mildred Boggs Minney. Darlene is a homemaker, former sales person for Avon Products, and graduate of Gilmer County High School, class of 1970. In her spare time she enjoyed working puzzles, crocheting, crafts, reading books, woodworking with her husband, watching the Dallas Cowboys, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her 5 beautiful grandchildren whenever possible. On October 12, 1996 Darlene was united in marriage to Stephen Greathouse, who survives at their home on Buckwheat Road. Surviving are 2 daughters, Michelle R. Gum and husband James and Jennifer D. Fallo and husband Charles, both of Weston WV, and 5 grandchildren, Maddysen N. Parsons, Leah L. Fallo, Brayden C. Fallo, Sampson L. Ramsey, and Logan M. Ramsey. Also surviving are 3 sisters, Sharon K. Minney of Elyria OH, Christine Kuepfer and husband Mike of Grafton OH, and Shelia Hamric and husband Tom of Glenville, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends. Along with her parents, Darlene is preceded in death by 2 siblings, Glenda Marie Martz, and Kenneth Neal Minney. Darlenes request for cremation has been honored and the family will have a Celebration of Life at Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville WV at 12:00-noon, Saturday, April 27, 2019 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Friends will be received from 11:00-12:00-noon Saturday morning, April 27 at the mortuary in Glenville. Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., is honored to assist the family of Nancy Darlene Greathouse with arrangements.
