GLENVILLE STATE PRESIDENT PELLETT RESIGNS

(04/02/2019)
The Glenville State College Board of Governors Chairman Greg Smith announced on Monday that the Board has been informed of the resignation of College President Dr. Tracy Pellett.

Dr. Pellett's resignation is effective at the end of his current contract on June 30, 2019.

"We appreciate Dr. Pellett's dedicated and exemplary service to the College and wish him well in his future endeavors," Smith said.

Pellett (left) had been the recent subject of numerous complaints lodged against him by GSC Staff.

John Beckvold, the chief financial officer, will be handling the day-to-day on campus duties of the president, according to the Board of Governors.

A press release says, "Dr. Pellett will continue to assist the Board in moving his initiatives forward and in the transition to an interim president. The Board said they will appoint an interim president and establish a presidential search committee as soon as possible."
