POLICE CHIEFS WIFE MAD - Yanie Ward is charged with wanton endangerment after police said she attacked chased her husband, who is the chief of the West Logan Police Department, with a machete and shot at him twice. Yanie Ward was arrested Tuesday and charged with wanton endangerment, according to Logan police. The two got into an argument when Yanie pulled out a machete and started chasing Robert through their home, according to Logan police. Police said Robert locked himself in a bathroom and Yanie got a firearm and shot through the door twice. Robert was able to climb out of the window and escape the home uninjured. Logan police arrived a short time later and arrested Yanie. She has been released after posting bond.
